| Paul graduated from the University of Brighton with an MA in Media
Assisted Language Teaching and Learning, and works at Aichi Shukutoku University. He was
co-chair and proceedings editor for the previous CALL SIG conferences in 1997 (Basics
& Beyond), and 1999 (CALLing Asia). He also edited the 1998 volume of papers entitled
"Teachers, Learners, and Computers: Exploring Relationships in CALL," and is
currently Assistant Editor for JALT's monthly publication, The Language Teacher. A native
